Off The Track To Hack 

The Off the Track to Hack Series, is open to all Standardbreds which have raced, or officially trialled nationally, or internationally. 
Horses must provide proof, via their HarnessWeb, or Harness Racing Australia Horse Profile, of trialling or racing to be eligible. 
 

There are two divisions within the series, walk/trot and open.

Walk/Trot for classes which are unable to canter and Open for some capable of cantering 
A 'final' feature event will be held in February, March or April of 2024. 
Horses must perform a ridden and led workout at the Final, with horses given scores by the judge(s), with are tallied to determine the Winner(s) and Runner Up(s). 

How will horses be judged? 
Horses are to be judged as Hacks/Hunters, but to the breed standard, and expected to work softly, with manners and correct paces. 
Are Newcomers/Stallions eligible? 
Newcomers and stallions are eligible for the Series, provided they fulfil the eligibility requirements.
What age must horses be to compete?
3 years- this is our minimum age for horses to enter a ridden class. 
Can a competitor compete on more than one horse? 
Yes.
